CPSC stays ban enforcement.


This is an update to an earilier post regarding the Consumer Products Safety Commission’s ban on youth ATVs containing lead.
I am happy to say that I saw this post today on Motorcycle USA regarding the CPSCs decision to stay the enforcement of the lead ban on youth-oriented motorcycles, go-karts, and ATVs.

Berkeley tree sitters lose their lifelines


 
An arborist was brought in Tuesday by the UC Berkeley Police to cut supply ropes and dismantle a wooden platform at the Memorial Stadium oak grove, where tree-sitters have been protesting for more than a year the University’s plans to build an athletic training center where about 100 trees currently stand.
