Tecumseh Sells Engine Business
A week after announcing it has sold its Peerless Transmission division to Husqvarna, Tecumseh Power Company sells assets from Engine Business to Certified Parts Corporation (CPC).
This is great news for Tecumseh fans and OEM customers alike. Tecumseh has announced that CPC will purchase most of the assets pertaining to Tecumseh’s parts production and distribution.
A long-time powersports parts distributor, CPC plans to eventually get into engine production and build on a long established brand. At least that’s the theory anyway. Until then, Certified Parts Corporation will continue parts distribution for Tecumseh engines and help keep thousands of engines, dealers, and OEMs running along.
