A possible new hire

President Bush visited Frederick, Maryland based Wright Manufacturing Inc. to build business interest in his economic stimulus plan. The President wants to make sure that small- and medium-sized businesses are included.

“While there’s some uncertainty right now, if we act quickly and in a smart way that helps growth, we’re going to be just fine,” Bush said.

President Bush continued his attempt to woo the press and LCO’s across the nation with his command of the Wright Stander. Note: no one from the press was actually hurt in the filming of this event. The photo op. and tour continued with about the same rhetoric. A stimulus plan aimed at getting consumers to spend was the cry, even if the time to act has passed us by.

His on-the-job training was capped with a call to spend, spend, spend. President Bush remains optimistic “because [he] understands that we got all kinds of Americans… making products people want.” Prepare for an aught eight that may require a little more savvy than sitting back and waiting for consumers to buy your goods and services. Hopeless, no. Profitable, can be. Easy, definitely not.
