Honda recalls 22,000 HRX217 walk-behind mowers


American Honda Motor Company in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled 22,000 Honda walk-behind mowers. A crack can occur in the fuel tank causing a fuel leak. If gasoline leaking from the fuel tank in ignited, a fire or explosion can occur. Models affected are the HRX217KHXA and HRX217KSMA with serial numbers from 1400001 through 1453714 inclusive. Owners should stop using the mowers immediately and contact Honda Motor Company at 800.426.7701.
