Where to from here?

Holiday season, gotta love it. Or not, you choose. I don’t mind. My youngest daughter (currently 2 years old) and I found out how much fun two people can have making faces at each other against the sliding glass door. She has since gone to bed and that entertainment has now left the evening with a thud. So, I am attempting to drink away the ennui while working on, well, work…

Every year at this time I contemplate taking our company into the Power Sports arena. It seems almost a natural progression, and let’s face it, people will spend rent money on their hobbies, but you couldn’t tear $5 bucks out of their hands to service their power equipment. But I don’t know if that’s just the sunshine talking, or if it really is the way we want to go. We certainly don’t want to lose focus of our goals, our customers or our business ideology. Powered Agriculture may be moving into the power sports market starting with next summer’s jet ski and quad rentals. I don’t see us selling power sports machines, although you never know, but we will be stocking parts and servicing them. However, rentals will be our jumping off point. I’d welcome any thoughts on the matter, otherwise I’m making my decision without you.
