There are various types of blowers

— for instance, wheeled, handheld and backpack types. The handheld blowers are then divided into two groups: those with collection and those without. With a blower you can do much more than just move leaves. It can also be used for grass clippings, hedge clippings and empty tins among others.

Things to keep in mind when choosing a blower:

• The machine should have an efficient vibration-damping system to minimize vibrations in those parts of the machine that the user comes in contact with.
• The engine should be powerful and easy to start.
• If you choose a backpack blower, it should have a harness which takes the load off your shoulders and arms.
